Chimney sweeps · Alder Hollow

Clean flues. Warm houses. No soot on the rug.

Two sweeps, one van and a very large collection of brushes. We clean, inspect and repair wood stoves and fireplaces before the first cold night catches you out.

What we do

Four jobs, done properly.

  1. 01

    Full flue sweep

Rotary brush from the crown to the firebox, with the room sheeted first. You get the creosote back in a bag so you can see what came out.

    from $189
  2. 02

    Level 2 inspection

A camera runs the full length of the liner. Every crack goes into a written report with photos, which is what home buyers and insurers ask for.

    from $240
  3. 03

    Caps, crowns and flashing

Most chimney leaks start at the top. We reseal the crown, fit a stainless cap and rework the flashing where it meets the roof.

  4. 04

    Liner replacement

A cracked clay liner lets heat reach the framing. We pull a stainless liner through the old flue without opening up your walls.

Lit the stove yet this year?

Have it swept first. Autumn slots fill up as soon as the nights turn cold.
